Techno- Report #59 - FlexPai the first foldable smartphonesteemCreated with Sketch.

Hi Steemit family!

There have been many advances in smartphone technology in recent years turning them into real mini computers, thanks to the materials implemented and nano technology is possible to have more performance in little space, making the designs are more ergonomic and compact.

source

This is the second year that in CES 2019 the main manufacturers of mobile terminals are not present in this prestigious delivery of the most advanced technological devices, one of the big bets to continue developing better terminals will be the implementation of 5G connectivity.

source

The only manufacturer who attended the CES will not be recognized, but has taken a smartphone that left everyone speechless, is the FlexPaid developed by the Chinese company Royole who has put in his post the first foldable and flexible phone in the world, although there was a model for developers very similar to this model this is practically the model launched into the market.

source

While big companies like Samsung, Xiaomi, Huawei and LG are still investigating how to develop this technology this not so well known company gave a masterstroke to present the world's first flexible phone with an AMOLED screen which can be folded with ease without damaging its functions.

source

Although not a smartphone itself, it looks more like a tablet actually, without folding this smartphone measures 7.8 inches with an aspect ratio of 4:3 and a resolution of 1920 x 1440 px and while this fully folded reaches 4 inches, with an aspect ratio of 16:9 on one side and the rear of 18:9.

source

The phone is a little heavy if we take into account its 320 grams, and according to official data from the Chinese company the phone can last 200,000 folds, has Android 9, in addition to having the 5G band ready to be used when it goes to market.

The phone beyond its flexibility does not offer any service at the height of the high end of the leading companies in the mobile phone market, at the moment have only proposed flexible technology as the next step, the new boom in the industry, surely will become fashionable, surely many companies take into account the futuristic design, also another detail is the utility that could be given to this double that can be applied to the phone.

source

Many skeptics do not like innovation much, although the technology experts of CES applauded the initiative because the mobile phone sector is currently stagnating in production, apart from the strong competition there will be many things to value if this world of products and their companies want to continue to attract the attention of potential customers.

source

In spite of the negative criticisms I would not see this invention as something wrong, about 10 years ago we did not think to have the mobile technology of today, many mocked the IPod and many others of the first iPhone, even that mockery cost expensive to companies like Nokia or BlackBerry that at that time were the market leaders that in a blink of an eye were left with totally antiquated phones and obsolete functions.

source

We will have to wait and see how consumers respond to the new demands and maybe we will see more of a model of flexible smartphones of different brands

Technology is now more sophisticated and increasingly in front of this era of globalization, even now there are mobile phones that can be folded. This is the development of the times which is greatly increasing from year to year...

Very useful and very informative post @flamingirl.. Do you still recognize me..??

I would totally use a foldable tablet-phone hybrid. The only things bothering me:

  • their price
  • how do they break (eg. If you drop them)
  • as mentioned, they tend to be a bit heavy
Nice and informative article, thanks for it!
