The Globalism and AI Centralization Endgame: Can Decentralization Win?

in #technology5 years ago (edited)

Artificial intelligence has always been an intriguing sci-fi topic, and now it's being pushed forward by many as an inevitable reality that humanity should, or even must embrace. Why is this happening?

AI is being positioned as a 'cure' for many things that trouble humanity. The buzz is plentiful, from solving economic and governmental problems, to coordinating everything in between, even excelling in philosophy and art to surpass human ingenuity. AI will manage all of the planet, and humanity will be free, living in a new utopia.

That's the dream. But the forthcoming reality is likely far different, more akin to a dystopia. And it's all by design.

Consider how many stories are pushed by the media, as if it's a truth that all people must acknowledge. They push something out there, a certain narrative, and the public perception is manipulated into accepting that version of reality. They are perception managers, and can make things become "real" and "true", even though they aren't.

"Global warming" or "climate change" as they now call it, is supposedly "undeniably" true and we must unite to save ourselves from ourselves. Globalism is inevitable they say, and will pave the way for a greater harmonious humanity. AI will save us from ourselves as well. It's the next paradigm induction to alter reality to the goals they want to accomplish: centralized control of the planet.

If we believe in their warm and fuzzy fantasy false "unity" model, we're going to want globalism and AI to make that "dream" come true. Yet, the goal is to bring greater centralized control over the planet through the holy grail of centralization technology which AI will usher in.

Mass monitoring through mass data is being achieved as we live. The surveillance states have grown by leaps and bounds over the past decades. China is going harder at it than any other it seems, with the social credit system, and seems to be a blueprint that other nations will adopt.

The UN is also pushing for AI in alignment with globalist and "sustainability" goals. Major banking organizations like the IMF want to use AI for better algorithmic economic analysis.

Data surveillance is one part of a centralized control grid, but you need muscle, or machines, to enforce the control. DARPA has long been funded with billions in the effort to propel AI and robotics research. Globalists wants to see the AI and robotic future realized, because then they have machines to do their bidding, unquestioned, rather than order-following humans who can always grow a conscience to refuse to do things.

Both corporations and so-called "public good" bodies like the UN and governments are seeking to achieve an AI reality, where the public is being convinced one is more trustworthy than the other. In either case, they both welcome whatever AI development is brought forth, while making it seem like they are fighting each other for who is best suited to usher in the new age.

We're being led into a self-fulfilling prophecy, by the image of an electronic god that will make life better. It's a false prophecy though. The massive amounts of data is hard to process for a human mind. AI will expand the mass surveillance grid into greater efficiency and control to manipulate us into the preselected pathway they controllers desire. China is an example.

With everything being monitored, governments will find "dissenting" voices who will be targeted as threats to the status quo and state hegemony. Public behavior will be predicted based on all the data representing everyone. Humanity will no longer have the degree of freedom it currently does. Deviations and divergence from the desired output will be removed as a "public threat".

Seeing everything through complete data analysis, is like being a "god", with an "all seeing eye" that monitors everything and can apply judgment to it all. Whatever the criteria, so-called "criminals" to the state centralization can be found, even before they potentially act against the "harmony" of society. This is the future of globalism and AI that we are headed towards. It won't happen immediately, and most won't even see it coming. Most will not even realize what has happened even when they are in the thick of it, still thinking it's the "greatest" age of humanity, while being our death.

Does AI need to end up this way, or even need to be created? No. It may also not even happen. We don't know how consciousness emerges from the biological basis, so to think we can create a real artificial general intelligence, is just a dream at this point. But there are those who will spend billions trying to make it a reality so they can bend humanity more effectively to their will.

The centralization threat can be offset by the decentralization being pushed forward through blockchain technology. We're at a great time for humanity, with so much technological being developed. Blockchain has only just come out, and many visionaries see a decentralized future as attainable, and maybe even inevitable, as opposed to a centralized dystopia. The future is never certain, but blockchain decentralized technology is certainly a light in the darkness as we move forward.

Playing devils advocate (that's not like,me, yeah I know).....

Isn't a blockchain the ultimate in a centralized administration tool....?

Using steem as a example.
We have an oligarchical system here, not a meritocracy.

Oligarchy, meaning 'few', a meaning 'to rule or to command' is a form of power structure in which power rests with a small number of people.

It doesn't matter how many apps there are, it still rests on one centralized system...ergo all it takes is for a few people to control it ('might is right' stake based structure), and we have centralization, central.

We have no idea who owns what - but we know for a fact that the financial system could own it all, if they so wished...
So why wouldn't they?

It seems quite logical...

I'm coming to the conclusion that all crytpo is the banking system setting itself up for total centralization...

What better way to sell total slavery as freedom? (it's not like it hasn't been done before)

Blockchain brings greater decentralization, but there is still centralization, just less of it. When you bring in a POS system, then it's money that rules, unless the POS is based not on buying the shares/stake... The more the stake is in few hands, the more centralized it is indeed.

It's an interesting idea I've thought about as well, and they could buy it all up indeed as long as there are others to sell it, but then anyone can go make another blockchain that they would have to keep buying up, and on and on. Most in crypto don't care about the freedom of decentralization, and just want to make money so they would sell to the rich.

as soon as the ego comes up in a person and greed, no decentralization is feasible.

the ego = mind wants to analyze and control ...

AI have been interviewed once, it was testimony of them that it makes sense to minimize the number of people ... logically, take a look on most people and what human beings have been up to now earth, that is the closest.

I hope decentralization could rock it and change the path we go...

voted for you as a witness.
all the best

Yeah, it seems like the underdog indy tech revolution that can battle and slay the Goliath of the technocracy :/. Thanks for the support.

Which leads into transhumanism which leads into the ultimate smart technology (spy technology) where you are reporting yourself 24/7. Then the question is raised can they force you to do things you wouldn't want to.

The cattle are easier to control when you know every single thing they do and have an AI program sifting through all the mass data being received.

Yeah, predicting what robotic automaton-like people will do is easier when you know what programs them and makes them do what they do.

They are perception managers, and can make things become "real" and "true", even though they aren't.

History is written by the winners!

It's amazing how I wrote today about something very similar, watched Risk and citizenfour last night and realized the amount of surveillance we are now under, and that we need to reach for more privacy and security in this centralized chaos we are now at...

Have you checked out some of the crypto projects trying to encrypt and decentralize the internet also Elon Musk's Starlink? Cryptos like substratum, maidsafecoin, skycoin, etc... want to encrypt the information going through the internet and relay it across many nodes, gov might be able to control the internet, but if all the information is encrypted how will they know what they are controlling?

Decentralization surely is a light in a dark dark centralized universe we are living in, I have hope for the future, and I aim to work in improving, develop and adopt a more decentralized society!

The future looks bright and dark at the same time!

No I have not checked more of the crypto that are seeking to make things more private. History is indeed written by the winners.

After reading your post, I went directly to read about China's social credit system, since I did not know it, and now that I've done it. I realize that it is an alarming problem.

Great post, I follow your efforts to alert people. Cheers!
