RE: (IJCH) Quick Quote to Ponder - "Picks and Shovels"

School is indeed boring and usually meaningless as well. Glad to see you've found your way through though. You should empower your daughter choose other ways, even though it's not the same as majority follow. Where majority goes, it's usually not good for the individual. :)

Through osmosis - not by any nudging by me, my daughter has incorporated many of my contrarian thinking and behavior.

It's absolutely wonderful to see her explore things with the same curiosity and love for learning that I still do.

My only job is to provide an environment sans the pressure and constraints I had to tolerate at her age.

Thanks for visiting and commenting.

That sounds like good parenting the way i see it and, i can not say the same about many others that i see around.

Since you're already doing it, let me ask you: how or in what ways did she got to that point to become that way? I'm asking as i'd like that my future child to have the same curiosity and contrarian thinking, but i want to come not from me nudging, but rather as a natural thing.

And is okay, i'm genuinely reading and commenting, is my pleasure. Thank you

Simple. If your child asks why and you don't know the answer, search together for it. And if you don't know something, never forget that you're allowed to ask her why too (whether you think she knows the answer or not). Those two "simple" things lead to so much more...

So simple yet so profound.. Thank you @jaichai :^ .
