Apple WWDC Keynote - This is new

Good news!

For the people who do not have the latest iPhone, and complain that it has slowed down over time, Apple is making significant improvements.

That's what Apple is announcing at the WWDC tonight

Tonight (morning local time) Apple has held its annual WWDC Developers Keynote. As usual, they have announced many beautiful things for this year.

For example, with the updates of the mobile operating system iOS, Apple mainly focuses on relatively small updates that should improve the performance and use of iPhones and iPads. This means that old iPhones have to be faster.

Thanks to a number of technical improvements, iOS 12 is faster than iOS 11. The keyboard responds an average of 50 percent faster, and Apps start 40 percent faster.

Notifications

Another major update is the bundling of several notifications into groups. Do you know that? Notifications that pay off each other and disappear in the notification screen, where you miss these notifications.
Apple will bundle notifications per app. This makes everything a lot clearer.

Do not disturb

The 'do not disturb' function of the iPhone will from now on take into account the time of day. When using the option in bed, the whole screen is blackened, with only white letters on the screen. This means the device no longer dazzles users in dark bedrooms.

In addition, notifications are no longer displayed on the unlock screen if the 'do not disturb' option is turned on.

The update to iOS 12 will be available later this year for all devices that support the current operating system, iOS 11.

Apple Watch - WalkieTalkie

What I really like is that the Apple Watch gets a new app: Walkie-Talkie. This allows users to send an invitation to other users with whom they often talk to talk through the app. The service works between two Apple Watches via WiFi or an internet connection.

A good sales point, of course. Because now I have to give every member of my family an Apple Watch!

I can not wait for this software to be available!
