RE: The Last Forest - Tell a Story to Me

It was a good read, @darthgexe, I enjoyed reading it. Your story contains many lessons in life and many readers will really find a piece or two. Let me share my thoughts about it.

As a person, no matter how decisive and abiding by your principles, you will never ever follow them especially when the good of your loved ones is at stake. You will tend to do everything to them, knowing that it is against your will, but still wanted to do it, so that they may be saved from harm and danger. That is unconditional love and I think everyone has those, no matter how cruel you are as a person.

The story also taught us that no matter what the circumstances, we should always look upon the greater good. We must think intellectually and we should try to think of the consequences that will happen if we come up to do a particular action. It is an ethical dilemma, knowing from the perspective of the protagonist, it may lead to the demise of her daughter or the demise of the entire humanity. He chose the decision to save the latter. Fortunately, nothing bad really happened to her daughter but I do hope that she will make good use of her newly found power.

Good job! Hoping to read more of your works soon!
