Two weeks after activation at block 1m, the Telos blockchain has hit block 3.4 million and the transactions are building up slowly. We thought this would be a great time to put out a catch up post on various items.

Festive cheer and Moving on

It has been a busy festive period for Telos, the Telos community as well as the Telos Launch Group, which has now disbanded and the various teams have transitioned into block producers, marketeers and general community builders and others still have been elected to the Telos Foundation board.

10m Votes!

Firstly, we are at position 13 today having risen to position 6 over the last few weeks. We thank all our voters for each of the 10,021,735 votes and promise to continue carrying out our duties as blockproducers on the Telos blockchain fairly, independently and transparently as expected by our community. Please continue supporting us as we embark on the various projects that we have lined up for you.

Infrastructure - Our beloved telosdacnode

We at TelosDAC have been working hard ensuring our infrastructure is working and available. Having produced blocks around the clock for 6 days straight, the Telos blockchain BP rotation schedule took telosdacnode out of the production run for 6 hours to allow for much needed maintenance and calibration. We took the opportunity to try out some system tweaks to enhance performance. This rotation schedule saw that a standby block producer was given the opportunity to produce blocks, and check their preparedness to step up. This is a key innovation on the Telos blockchain. We will make the details of the make up of our beloved telosdacnode the subject of a future post for the techheads among us.

The 6m Block Snapshot

It is important to prepare all Telos accounts to ensure that they are included in the Telos "Orginal" snapshot that will take place at block 6m. It is doubly important for anyone interested on the DAC as our own airdrop will be based on this particular snapshot.

To be included, account holders need to perform at least one transaction/action on their account. We encourage you to vote as that constitutes an action.
