The Telos blockchain is launching - Go Telos!
After many months of hard work, the Telos blockchain founder's group voted unanimously to launch the blockchain after all items on the launch checklist were developed, tested and signed off . https://telosfoundation.io/launch
We at TelosDAC are very excited about these developments and are honored for the privilege of being involved in the development and launch of this latest iteration of EOSIO based blockchains.
We are finalising the block production infrastructure and should be ready to connect to the network as soon as it goes live. We will prepare a separate post detailing our infrastructure and plans going forward.
Following launch we will be gearing up with our airdrop to the Telos community to meet our commitment in ensuring that the community have a stake in a block producer candidate. We elected to utilise the Telos Original snapshot that will take place at block 6m to ensure that early supporters of Telos get the benefit of future airdrops. That in effect will be the Telos genesis snapshot. We have some exciting news around this which we will share soon.
The launch sequence is going well, and data verification is ongoing. With any luck the genesis node will be cranked up later tonight (10th December 2018) and the race to block 1m will begin. Please see the link below for detailed steps following the Go vote.
