We Are All Victims Of Facebook Manipulation.

I would have never really dig into it, if not for one of the tweets of HyperSpace Twitter account that appeared on my timeline. As I have read the article that was shared I was aghast for the thought that Facebook app actually keeps record of my Android phone of all the calls and texts and then selling it to advertisers or to whomever that will be interested with that information.

It then give us details how contrary to the PR that Facebook are oftentimes issuing, like one of their official statement “At Facebook we believe that the need to open up and connect is what makes us human. It’s what brings us together. It’s what brings meaning to our lives.” but then it is with their knowledge and intent to hide the said feature (harvesting your calls and texts info) from the public in return of the income it can generate to the company.

Fortunately, another tweet from HyperSpace give us hope what lies in the future as HyperSpace is one of the platform mentioned that will replace the social networks as we know them today. I am so looking forward that these internet giants will be overrun by the new industry players such as HyperSpace which offers fairer and more distributed rewards to content creators and users.
