LupeCoin: what's so special about it?

If you are active on Crypto Twitter or any other crypto related social media channel, then no doubt you have heard of LupeCoin - a new ERC20 token that has been gaining a lot of popularity across the cryptocurrency space. But LupeCoin (LUPX) is not your average cryptocurrency... what's so special about it?

Proof of Friendship (PoF)
LupeCoin is a unique Proof of Friendship (PoF) token that creates an unbreakable friendship on the blockchain, and was made by The Lupecoin Project (Twitter: @LupecoinProject). Like many projects, it started off innocently with the creation of LUPX - a token the image of which was inspired by the ever so friendly and loveable Señor Lupe, a Twitter personality who stole the hearts of many with his messages of positivity, happiness and inclusivity.

Time for some smiles!
It was right in the depth of 'saltseason' where many cryptotraders and investors were feeling the bear market and social media were filled with desperation. People were getting 'salty' and sometimes hostile towards fellow traders. Time for some smiles and carelessness! So the founders airdropped LUPX tokens among 'frens', being especially generous to people in the cryptocommunity who showed care and friendship towards others.

Community
Soon it became a bit of a wildfire, and those who received some LupeCoin also spread them amongst their friends, and so forth. Meanwhile, the community grew around LupeCoin with folks connected by the same goal: to spread some smiles, happiness and positivity with the use of blockchain technology.

Desktop and Mobile wallets
The team is working hard to have a desktop wallet ready in the beginning of 2019, while a mobile wallet for both Android and iOS will be available in the second half of 2019. Both wallets will work together and enable users to participate in the greater plan of The LupeCoin Project: a smart contract ecosystem with dApps for collectibles and games.

With the development of dApps it will be possible to buy and trade collectibles called 'Chummies', after Señor Lupe's horse Mr. Chummy. The native token will be LUPX. But what will be an absolutely fantastic release is the game 'Chummy Hunting', in which real life geocaching is combined with augmented reality (AR).

Lupe and Friends: The Animated Series
Some members of the project are incredibly creative. Many are great at making memes (especially so in the LupeCoin Telegram group), but some take it further and created a real animated series.

The Future of LupeCoin
