We watched as Steemit Inc created big @Sneak problems and turned off a lot of potential investors!

in #the-future5 years ago

Treat the people who work for you with dignity and freedom to improve & innovate, and your Investors/Stakeholders can and want to be your sparring-partners to move faster, smarter and with more money in circulation!

As an accredited corporation invested in a myriad of companies and crypto projects I have seen a lot of really bad CEO´s making hiring mistakes that have very negative long-term consequences. Let us avoid more of this in Steemit Inc.

A Disaster named @sneak and how one mans bad behavior put the entire STEEM project at risk!

One of the worst CEO decisions that affected all of us STEEM investors and the STEEMIT Brand in a really negative way was when the company decided to hire @sneak to be CTO of Steemit Inc, and many people have expressed a great gratitude that he is no longer working for Steemit Inc. but when he did work for them, he implemented communication-line rules and regulations that backfired so hard that it still hunts Steemit Inc and the STEEM brand to this day.

Arrogance with a failing strategy, @Sneak made new and old Investors doubt STEEMs future!

The biggest mistake with Steemit INC has been secret behaviour instead of an open casual brotherly or sisterly communication with stakeholders and the rest of the co-owners of STEEM.

Before @sneak was hired and became audible on @steemspeak and visible at @steemfest we had a grand vision together with @Ned Scott. Thousands of people loved the company, the progress and the roadmap. However, a CTO who like to throw shit at everyone changed that.

Because of @sneak developers stopped developing and quit, the projects for the upcoming hardforks was delayed and when he managed to piss on our Investors Forum which is @SteemSpeak a lot of hate for Steemit Inc. was created and the hate has not returned back to love since.

How to fall back in love with Steemit Inc?

I have never had a bad word to say about Steemit Inc, but after carefully listening to ex Steemit Inc. people, I want to express to them that treating or allowing some subordinary rouge middleman to treat people bad is completely unacceptable, @ned.

The stories that have been told are true, and for the first time I empathize with them, I now see Steemit Inc. from the worldview of your ex-employed staff, and after finding out more and more things I would like to see an apology from Steemit Inc to those who worked for you, only to be a victim of Mr. @sneak and his ways of doing things.

At least @sneak is no longer bossing people around, he does not work anymore for Steemit Inc and he has no [email protected] email anymore. That is a good thing!

Ned Scott growing up with STEEM, he is the visionary and the boss of bosses

Speaking for Fyrstikken INC. we would never invest in STEEM if it was not for the Visions of @Ned Scott and his team. However we could have powered down and exited STEEM a long time ago, but chose to instead increase our stake which we have done and continue to do because the vision is still alive, and I, the CEO of Fyrstikken Inc, believe that SMTs will give STEEM and Steemit.com/Steemit INC. a second chance, maybe the last chance but definitely a second chance.

With HF21 there is NO ROOM for failure from Steemit Inc.

As I wrote two years ago, we are here to see it through, when there was a 2 years power-down commitment we made a 7-9 year commitment which we have not broken.

The SMT release is a speculative one, incredibly risky and yet the upside is potentially so high that if this works, none of us reading this article and have some steempower to their name never have to work again.

We sent a box of cookies to the Headquarter of Steemit Inc, @sneak did not like that!

It was a token of gratitude, our man strong community with myself taking the initiative just wanted to tell them in a sophisticated and dignified way that we appreciated their hard work, apparently that was a big problem for @sneak, and instead of building bridges, @sneak started blowing them up making a big gap between investors and the leading developers of the blockchain - why could we no longer communicate with our friends and acquaintances like before? Why did Steemit Inc become a hermetic can full of restrictions on communication, not allowing Steemit Inc workers to come to @SteemSpeak Discord, Steemit Inc. Had become a closed source club, I was apparently not wanted nor invited to the discussion table, I just observed what kept going on, and hoped and prayed that @Ned Scott would make a boss-move sooner rather than later and fire @sneak, loosen the communication restrictions and allow for quick and easy access to communicate across platforms without being witch-hunted by company employees or employer.

We forgive you @Ned Scott - but never ever let something like @sneak happen again!

You have lost a lot of support over the almost 3 years we have been partnered/co-owners of the Steem Blockchain. I have defended you and the company without a reason to do so, in the beginning, it sounded like FUD from some butthurt people, but after investigating the matter from multiple sources, I should apologize too, for not believing in them when they were treated badly in Steemit Inc. by the CTO and the CEO because of the CTO.

Apologize to those who have been wronged by your company is the right thing to do!

Just like I have apologized to people I have wronged, or gone too far with, so must every leader that have ambitions to aspire into great venture do in order to contain and grow in integrity. Leaders that have made mistakes and refuse to talk about their mistakes becomes poor fast.

Steve Jobs had to change himself for the better in order to accomplish his visions!

Steve Jobs was once a horrible n00b CEO of Apple Inc. A horrible person who created a war inside the company he started and allowed it to head down the drain having made sure to capitalize on the little Apple was worth when he rage quit and went on to create NeXT OS, Pixar Toy Story and then bought back into Apple as the NeXT OS became MacOS, Unix based, strong security and privacy and right out of the box and huge bestsellers.

The Past is gone - Today is the day to let go of it and focus 100% on the future without repeating or creating new social drama on an already tortured blockchain full of victims.

@Ned continues to steer the STEEM-SHIP, I believe he has grown with this job and I expect Steemit Inc workers to be proactive in communication with Investors and top Internet people who could become investors by being active and a part of http://SteemSpeak.com

The Price reflects the market's evaluation of STEEM based on its merits. Being at $0.32 after an all-time high of $8.00 speak volumes of disappointment and bad math.

If @Sneak had not happened, if @sneak had not come to @SteemSpeak and @SteemFest I believe we would be lurking around $3-4 per STEEM instead of this scenario.

Sure, we can blame Bitcoin and the market, in general, to be in bear, but for a flagship like STEEM, the price reflects something more, it shows that we have a weak holding culture, a weak investor team and very little incentives to become part of anything.

PS: If you have too much SteemPower, delegate half of it to @Booster and make liquid income every day in Steem and SteemDollars (and maybe SMTs too later?) @Booster is the Original auction-based promotion service on the STEEM blockchain and has been battle-tested more than any other bots and therefore also has a larger customer base which makes our payouts to delegators higher than other bots. Give it a try, and join us on @SteemSpeak while waiting for ROI. :)

Yeah I stopped posting github issues after he closed an issue telling me it wasn't going to be fixed... and being a dick about it... great job...

He was like a blind man shooting at the world, or a small dog pissing at everyone's corner, or a man who was never disciplined as a child so as an adult he encouraged people who disagreed with him to commit suicide (which unfortunately is more common in the crypto-space, and even in the STEEM-space )

So, the words bigot and bigotry, what do they even mean?

It is a smart word that unfortunately has been used and abused by a bunch of really stupid dyslectic people who march for money. throwing out those words as if holding a different opinion then theirs is a sin or a crime?

I do not want people who disagree with sneak to die in a fire, which is exactly what his public/official statement means.

That's very disappointing. I'm agreed with your words.

Interesting and sad at the same time. @ned has made some mistakes, but @sneak (I mean, it's in the name right?) could have killed the entire platform.

Thankfully decent people will keep this platform afloat.

May the price of Steem never be this low again.

At least they should consult with each other before taking any decision for the good of this community and of course Steem.

I can't say about your anger toward this guy or the current Steem price. I have faith and continue my journey on this awesome blockchain.

I am a great fan of Steve Jobs, and I believe a leader will always change his rules to accommodate to the greater benefit of the society that he leads. And @ned is definitely is trying to do that by becoming a perfect example to live stream and even deal with Q & A. That will bring back the confidence in this blockchain. I am sure, we are going to see the success in coming days in the form of destiny.

I realize that these are harsh words, but it takes a real jolt to get things going again. I realize that these are harsh words, but it takes a real jolt to get things going again. You merit my highest esteem.
