Loktak Lake is the largest freshwater lake in Northeast India . Loktak lake Duniya ki kewal ek Terti jheel h Jo India m h. Loktak lake is located in Moirang Manipur.This lake plays an important role in the economy of Manipur. It serves as a source of water for hydropower generation, irrigation and drinking water supply. This lake so wonderful then waterbirds due to different types of wetlands. Nearly 100,000 people depends on the lake for their livelihood.
