In The Shadows
I sat in the corner of the local pub and eyed the vagrants coming and going. They all had the same look. Despair. Desperation. Desolate faces gracing the bartender with stories of grandeur and woe. I decided it was time. Time to give them something, something to look forward to. Something to hope for. Something completely - FAMtastic.
Indominable spirit here. Everybody knows I'm referring to @shadowspub. 2 Years on the STEEM Chain? Be sure you go congratulate her and give her major props - much respect Shadow.
Shadow really surprised me with this one here. There aren't many things out there that can give me the feel-goods and get me choked up at the same time. Love Never Ending however, did exactly that and stole a few breaths in the process. Beautiful must read that will make you surely smile or cry - or both.
If you are in The Ramble for any reason, you've come across @thekittygirl at some point. Now, there was a bit of a joke going on involving little fantasy fellas. 'Snook and the Magic Beans' is a great light-hearted piece of Kitty's imagination that expanded on the humorous misgnomer.
And if you liked that and thought it was funny, 'Pants are Optional' with @snook is going to keep you laughing. In this one, you will get punched in the mouth by her guest's daughter and get a full world view from above? Submarines or something and owls.
Someone who is really getting into STEEM and sees the potential is @robertandrew. He recently reached official dolphin status and has issued a challenge called The Dolphin Support Initiative. I sure hope other 'bigger fish' out there hop on board and show the love that he is bound and determined to spread around now. Paying it forward, love it man!
Shadow did well to hit 2 years, but let's not overlook someone that just hit their one year Steemiversary, @fishyculture! Glad you have stuck around and are toughing it out sweets. Her post here shows how her and @longsilver have both come quite a long way through their STEEM journey and I can only imagine it will continue to get more interesting. Congratulations Fishy!
I was kind of overwhelmed with this one. There is a place in Vancouver called Kitsilano Pool and apparently, it is the largest pool in North America. Go check out the sunshiny feel good day @thedamus had with his family there. I'm kinda jealous LOL!
Uncles have some interesting stories and the one that @fiftysixnorth's has to share is pretty funny. Times sure have changed, eh 56? And yes people, those are rubbers, not ballons, hanging from the wire there as though they were clothes out to dry.
Before you go read this great expressive work by @zen-art, tell me what you see in the painting here! Enjoying the creative process often gets overlooked when artists and builders, or what have you, get caught up in their work and it becomes 'work', instead of the creation it was meant to be. Thanks for sharing Petra, love ya back!
Jeepers @derangedvisions! He's calling on writers to try their hand at writing a gripping screenplay about the spiritual torment and decisions one individual makes. (I've read some of it, it's frig'n awesome!!!) Anybody want to step up and write a movie?
You all know I just love getting the 'feel-goods' right? This is one of those. A fairly short but very sincere poetic portrayal of hope. Let's face it, the world sure needs a lot more of this, especially in the face of various adversities every day. Very well done @abmakko, I hope everyone comes and reads this!

How on earth do you manage to fit into a Friday doing these posts, your posts, Words With Witty, then the Playhouse and the Pow Wow as well - I know you said you hadn't had much sleep recently - must be none at all!
Super collection of posts, caught a few of these but missed @fiftysixnorth rubber collection lol. You chat with @snook was epic, a great episode there a few previous ones I have yet to watch though.
