Raise your hands if you like attending birthday parties?

Man, I love birthday parties. Be it for adults, most especially for kids. I think kid's birthday parties are better than adults. Don't you think?

• Bouncy castle? A bit weird for adults, and usually it has weight limitation 🤣
• Pin the pig tail? Okay for adults as long as you are drunk, I guess 🤣
• Ice cream cake? I doubt adults would get super excited and impatient for it!

Well, okay, adults parties are fun too and can get so wild, but seriously, I love attending kids parties better 😁

Especially when it's Indonesian style, obviously 😉 Becauuuuseee...

Various Indonesian foods that certainly could cure your homesickness

Indonesian friends speaking in Indonesian, so you won't forget your own language 😏😂😏😂

And when you have a birthday falls in Summer time, a backyard party is a must 🤩 which sadly the four of our birthdays are in Winter, so our parties are always indoor, boo-hoo 😅

What I don't like about going to kids parties, is the need to also pack a surprise present for my own kid(s). Dayuuum. I remember with my 1st, I had to do this, he would cry when he realized it was his party, which obviously he had to hand in the present to the birthday friend(s), where he thought it was his party and therefore presents at the party were to be his 🤣 So after two incidents, I knew better. This happened with my youngest too! To date, I still have to prepare surprise wrapped gift, hidden in the car, when we attend a birthday party 😅

Mau berbagi beberapa foto pas ultah di rumah temanku tempo hari (lihat atas juga yak 👆👆)

Aku suka banget kalau diundang ke ultah anak2, seru soalnya. Apalagi kalau yang ngadain orang Indo, berlimpah ruah makanan Indo, jadi kenyang 🤣😋😋🤣

Ngomong2. Apakah kalian punya anak kecil semanja anak2ku?

Kalau kami diundang ke pesta ultah gitu, pasti deh kudu menyiapkan hadiah kejutan buat anakku yang bungsu, karena dia selalu mikir, setiap pesta yang kami datangi adalah pesta untuk dia, dimana segala hadiah yang dipajang tuan rumah, pasti untuk dia, karena kan itu "ultah dia" 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Dulu waktu si sulung masih kecil, juga begitu 😁 Jadi kalau kami ga menyiapkan satu kado tersendiri, giliran dia menyerahkan kado ke yang ultah, bakalan nangis dah, kecuali dia dapat kado juga 🤣

Anak2ku jarang banget kami rayakan mengundang teman2 mereka, karena ultah mereka berdua jatuhnya pas Musim Salju, jadi susah kalau mau ngadain pesta (disini bisa - 42 C). Oleh karena itu, kalau dapat undangan pesta di Musim Panas, jadi kasihan kalau mereka kelihatan sedih gitu, karena ga bisa pesta seru di luar ruangan (misalnya di kebun), semprot2 air, lari sana-sini dll. Untung masih bisa dibujuk dengan kado kejutan 😁
