I agree with what you said about Apple. Once the visionary is gone, it's only a matter of time. It'll ride on it's coat tails and latest innovations for a decade or less, but then it'll fizz out. IMO
Yeah I mean that's certainly the route they appear to be taking. Sales can only keep you afloat for so long.
