The Hive Special Edition. Curly Wurly.
Howdy folks'.
This is a spontaneous post prompted by @ArtimesNorth and @TheKittyGirl both have being introduced to the name Curly Wurly, which is made by Cadubury Chocolate.
This is a toffee wrapped in chocolate bar and is very chewy.When you head of to the shop grab your Curly wurly and head back home , this is what you have.
The colours themselves look almost good enough to eat or maybe that is just that I know what is hidden inside. Once you peal the wrapper apart you see the brown chocolate standing there in front of you. Waiting to compliment your desire and melt in the warmth of your mouth. A destiny that can be relived daily.
I like to fold the toffee in my mouth and trap pieces of chocolate between waves of toffee, I don't chew the toffee just let it melt away on its own, personal preference.
I guess I better show you what it looks like inside the wrapper. I have a picture right here for you.

Unfortunately, once opened they do not last long and by the time I got back to taking the second picture I had already eaten the Curly wurly.
Let me assure you it was really enjoyable to eat, and i was thinking of you both constantly as the chocolate melted over my taste buds.

If you are going to try one, wait till the weather is cooler and you can have a hot drink with them, I drink Tea.
Put the Curly Wurly in the refrigerator and let the toffee harden a bit more or it becomes like strings as you bite pieces off,
When I take from the Fridge I break it Snap it into smaller pieces, Take a few pieces at a time, as I drink a cup of tea, Better then a cookie and tea I'd say.
I know them, but I never actually ate one of them in my whole life.. are they that good?

Are you sure that the "the 4 pictures in this post were taken by Jan23com for the purpose of this post", and not to prove you enjoyed eating the candy bar? And you seriously wait for the toffee to just melt? Me I am munching away hoping that it does not pull a filling out.

Since I had never heard of the Curly Wurly, I appreciate your photographing it and writing this post for us! I read about it in Wikipedia and discovered that it was only available here in the US for a short time (mostly during my "poor college-student" days) and I never saw them. We do have other chocolate-covered-caramel treats, though, which I image are simlar. The design of these is certainly fun and unique, though! Thank you for sharing this! 😊

You are seriously patient- there's no way I could wait for that chocolate to melt!! I LOVE a good curlywurly but I guess I'm showing my age if I say something about how they used to be bigger? ;)

Yes they were bigger. same with mars snickers and other bars, the portion size got reduced instead of a price increase or along with to max profits.
Ooh yes- mars bars used to be massive (or I was a lot smaller)... and there was me thinking it was their way of helping us watch our waist-lines (yeah right!)
