The Voice of Revelation - The Hour of Darkness
I was reading the Word of God a few days ago, particularly the Book of Luke chapter 22. While reading, I get to the verse 53 of the chapter, read it more than twice and I finished the whole chapter. I went back to that verse 53 and read it again and I was ministered to from there.
The Hour of Darkness.
Luke 22: 53
When I was daily with you in the temple, ye stretched forth no hands against me: but this is your hour, and the power of darkness. - KJV
It was Jesus that was speaking there in the passage when the chief priests, captains of the temple, and the elders came to capture Him to be judged for what He did not do for the fulfillment of the scripture and the privilege we are having today as a Christian which is salvation.
What is the hour of darkness in that passage? As we all know that there is time for everything in life whether good or bad. Remember that when Jesus was preaching, healing the people, the chief priests was unable to harm Him or do anything bad to Him. Even though they are had the agenda of capturing Jesus but they were unable to all because the time is not right.
Then comes the right time which was the hour of the darkness when they were able to capture Jesus and crucified Him. After then, another hour came that the darkness was overcome and put to shame which was the hour of resurrection and salvation.
This is telling us that in life, there will be time for tribulations and trials, there will be an hour of darkness in every man's life which is for a purpose, a purpose for fulfillment.

The Bible tells us in the book of John 16:33 that in this world, we will face troubles but we should be happy for Jesus has overcome the world. This is the peace of God for us as a Christian.
Jesus did not say we will not face troubles. If you look at the world we are in, Christians are the most that are facing troubles because we are fighting a battle. A battle with satan to pull us into his kingdom and by not accepting, he will bring a lot of problems to face us so that we will fail and fall.
We can see that those that are of the world are doing well, prospering, living a comfortable life all because satan knows they are in his kingdom and there is no need to wage war against them. That is why we as a Christian should only focus on what will be our gain at the end of the race which is eternal life.
So when satan comes with his tactics, don't yield to it. Stay focus, keep praying, have faith that the time will pass and it will.
Remember that Jesus did pray before the capturing on the Mount of Olives. Temptation came, seeing the suffering He would have to go through but Jesus remembered the purpose of His coming to the world and the glorious end and said: "let thy will be done". This is what we should always remember to do when we are facing problems. Hand over it to God and pray.
The hour for darkness will surely come but the way you handle it will determine the result. Don't start complaining and asking questions but rather face it and overcome by the power of God through the Holy Spirit.

Let me tell you...
- For a life full of glory, there will be a darkness lurking around.
- The time will come when darkness will not lurk but attack.
- The attack can be on anything concerning your life.
- Whenever the time of darkness arrives, know that there is a joy after that hour.
It's now up to you to take the whole armour of God and invite God to lead the battle for you. Once the hour of darkness pass and you are able to stand, then you will come out triumphantly and people will start to celebrate you. Then, you will take your possession and rejoice in the Lord.

Say this pray:
Father, I thank You because you never change. Forgive me all my sins for I know that I am a sinner and forgiveness is from you. Empower me with Your Holy Spirit so that when the time of darkness comes into my life, I will be able to wait on You for victory. Help me Lord to never go back but remain in You. Thank You for the answered prayers. In Jesus name Amen.

The darkness that was mentioned was literal darkness.
(Matthew 27:45 NIV) From the sixth hour until the ninth hour darkness came over all the land.
It was dark from about noon to about 3 PM.
I don't think it's accurate to read that verse and say that everyone has an hour of darkness in their lives. I don't accept your other conclusions either.
I also see no point in reciting the prayers of others. We should pray to God based on what's on our heart.
As the Spirit of God minister to us differs. That those not mean that it's not right. If you read the passage, it was Jesus that stated it that it was hour of the power of darkness. Every other thing that happened from the time of the capture to when Jesus died was an hour of the darkness.
That was the time of problem/trials/temptation. If you read through the article you will be able to figure that out.
I am not talking about the changing of the weather but for every circumstances that a Christian will face as a trial which is a hour of darkness.
You don't need to accept anything you don't want to. And the prayer is not by force to say it. It's a way to direct and lead prayer points for such situations. Prayer brings more prayers as the spirit leads.
