RE: Trading spaces

@smallsteps is gonna look like a super human compared to her peers.

I'm a bit worried about the ramifications of over consumptionr, especially to us Finns who are already borderline anti-social when it comes to displaying affection.

Even with apps like Tinder, it drives disconnection, because it is about getting people hooked on swiping to display adds on their face. People feed into this even more by often not even writing anything to their bio which seems like a sure indication that there's no intention or thought behind the picture whatsoever.

There are some studies according to which young people today actually have less sex, despite apps like Tinder. This "hook-up culture" we're living in is quite lonely...

The way we treat people and apps like Tinder have made us even more disposable. No one will ever learn compromise or the skills to build or fix a healthy relationship. Why fix when there are a hundred waiting a swipe away.

No wonder so many young people are depressed as the number one reason is social disconnection and a lack of intimacy. Having people around who care matters. Thst takes work.

Why fix when there are a hundred waiting a swipe away.

I don't think the person/people that coined the term "there's plenty of fish in the sea" had any way of seeing Tinder coming XD

Plenty of fish, just as cold too.
