Good point. I wrote a couple of Master's Theses on the matter of manipulation in the media and I am still prone to be caught off guard from time to time...

Manipulation is in every kind of communication and media is just a means for mass communication. We, audience, rely on editorial honesty and idealism. And it's less and less probable to be found. The archives are there, by the way. Just not very accessible.

So for blockchain verification to work, it needs to be accessible and understandable by the mass. Or at least anyone interested. Because most people would rely on someone's authority to verify stuff for them. And when authorities collide...

I mean, the tools will be there. But the old principles will be valid. An ocean of information. We need a map. The mapmakers are people with opinion.
