In Afrikaans, we have a saying "Look North and keep moving forward." It sounds better in Afrikaans and has profanity in but you get the gist :)
Obviously I think what kinds of hard times matter, some require immediate action and a game plan... others really just need a nap. Some you just resign yourself and control what you can while hoping it is better soon.
I guess we hope that others let us breathe and we silently work away at the things we can actually control. Goodluck, hope you get to breathe :)
I like the expression looking north and moving forward. I think understand the Afrikaan nuiance. Sonds a little like "grin and bear it".
