Snopes and their average reader/supporter are morons. Now that the idiots at Snopes are debunking satire, we'll be seeing their fans become even more dumbed down than they already are. Most of the time they don't even realize that Snopes plays a 'switch' game when debunking something. That is, debunking something that has nothing to do with the initial topic mentioned in their clickbait titles.

I've not been a fan of Snopes going all the way back to the Bush years and the misleading, political motivated, manipulative "fact finding" games that they would play. They're less trustworthy than Wikipedia imo.

I agree, yes - Wikipedia is dodgy and highly manipulated but Snopes has that intention at it's core.
