Suggestion to 3speak, @theycallmedan and @oracle-d
I have a suggestion for the 3speak platform to gain some momentum.
I suggest @theycallmedan makes a youtube video (ironically yes) to reach all the content creators that have been banned, demonetized in the youtube purge recently and in the future and just generally spread awareness about the project.
Anyone banned, demonetized will be searching for alternatives on google and youtube and having that video up on youtube for them to orient themselves makes every sense.
The title of the video should reflect 3speak offers an alternative to youtube to all that have been banned.
Got banned, demonetized from youtube? Come to 3speak and monetize your content censorship free.
Something to that effect.
All effort should be put in getting this video to 100,000's of views.
Steemians could help start that with a couple of thousand views. I'm sure @oracle-d could help with that as well.
Include email campaigns, flyers with QR codes linking to https://3speak.online/.
We could also mirror that video under different titles so it comes up under different search terms.
This is a good idea, I will make a video on YouTube, and we can treat it as a war cry for all the de-platformed. My account has been demonetized and heavily shadowbanned, but if Steemians pushed it hard enough, it could maybe grab some peoples attention.

damn i didn't know about 3speak until now. but how do we know that it's censorship-resistant?
edit: ok it's based on steem. but steem is not censorship-resistant. ned can demonetize you just like youtube.
The 3speak team says as long as the content creators aren't promoting violence they will give the deplatformed a voice.
They're thinking of delegating the decision on who to take on board to the community later on.
Videos are going to be stored on the steem blockchain and Sia (decentralized cloud storage platform).

well zuckerberg says the same thing. "it's a platform for all ideas"
the question is would the system (or blockchain code) allow any whale to demonetize anyone they don't like.
for steem/fb/yt the answer is yes. and 3speak team cannot prevent this. not unless they have their own blockchain.
You can also support content creators with 3speak tokens if you want...

Ned can take you off steemit.com which is a private website. STEEM the blockchain is censorship resistant and Ned can't do a thing about that. 3speak is a separate site built onto the blockchain with the videos backed up on a separate blockchain so will be going no where.
Ned can demonetize anyone on the steem blockchain no matter what frontend you use. If 3speak has their own way of saving videos kudos to them. If they scale we'll see how free they really are.
and i highly doubt they're putting entire videos on a blockchain. this is just factually wrong.
Ned nor superman can touch your videos on 3speak.
