RE: Drawing with Charcoals ,in Threespeak

in #threespeak7 years ago

Today starts a new session in sumi-e - a form of #Japanese ink painting brought from China in the 12th century.
The name literally means “charcoal drawing” and is done primarily in black ink. Students will grind their own ink and learn to create the primary sumi-e brushstrokes.
if you inktober guys are having trouble with smudging and stuff i found that those artists gloves you use on drawing tablets are super useful! they might even work on other annoying mediums like charcoal who knows.............

you have students? cool ,, i love to work with ink more than charcoals
