BBC Supertruthers Defend Against Fake News? Journalism Is the Responsibility of Us All Now - Let's Evolve Society & Find Balance.
I just came across this news story on the BBC site (UK mainstream/gov news) where it's upper hierarchy stated that fake news is a threat to democracy and that the BBC was going to lead the way around the world in somehow leading everyone to the truth! Haha.
I've taken the time to pull apart some of the denial in the claims being made.

Perceived bias from certain BBC programmes is not the same as Fake News / alternative facts that are prevelant in much of US broadcasting. You'll get a different slant on subjects like Brexit from different programmes. Try Fox news for 1 day and you'll see the difference.
BBC has been exposed numerous times outright lying on important topics - they are different to Fox, yes - they are more subtle.
