Thundercurator! What or Who is it?

If you have been to my blog at all, you have seen something like the picture above in my comments. Pretty much every day. It looks a lot better than my screenshot - a gif with lightening is drawing attention to the comment - you almost can hear the thunder.
Why do you see it?
Because @thundercurator is stopping by to give me some upvoting love.
And that, as you will believe me without any doubt in your mind, I love.
How do you get the upvotes?
I am so glad you asked!!
It is very, very easy and just about everyone can do it.
Here are the steps"
- You pay 2 Steem enrollment fee.
- You set an autovote to the @thundercurator account for 0.02 or 100% (whichever is less, but they happily accept a higher vote as well)
- You write quality content - no plagiarism will be tolerated.
That gives you a tiny upvote every day.

Why I Use the Service
To get upvotes, duh!! Of course, that is a reason, but there are a lot of bots and such out there that can do that.
Did you know that @thundercurator is NOT a bot?
That is right. People. Not a bot!
When @bunnymoney and @entrepreneur916 started @thundercurator, they wanted to bring something different to Steem. A human-powered upvoting and curation service that made sure that all posts were legit. We all know about the problems this platform has faced with people stealing content and pretending it is theirs.
Not under their watch!!!
Bad apples do not only NOT receive an upvote and resteem - they get warned, reported, and downvoted.
I had the pleasure of meeting both of them at the first Steemcreators conference in Las Vegas and was able to delegate early to the service.
The original model proofed to be not sustainable in a market where Steem was going down, down, and further down.
For many months, they supported all of the upvotes going to the users of the service with their own money. But there comes a time when we all have to reassess what we are doing. That happened for the @thundercurator a little while ago and let to the new, more sustainable system.
I trust @bunnymoney and @entrepreneur916 intentions completely and am very grateful that they are staying on Steem and helping all of us succeed - well, all of us who decide to join the Thunder family.
