CHOCOLATE CHIPS

Chocolate Chips,
make me flip!

Invented in 1937,
They are a gift from heaven.

At the Toll House Inn,
a baker gave cookies a new spin!

Thank you, Ruth Graves,
for a treat many crave!

You can eat them from the bag,
although, Mom may nag!

You can get your Chocolate Chip fix,
with a handful of trail mix,

Or in the cookies you bake,
I put them atop of cake,

Maybe you’ll make,
Chocolate Chip pancakes.

Try Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream,
it makes my face beam!

I hope you celebrate Chocolate Chips today,
by eating them your favorite way!
