Samsung tops the smartphone market in the first quarter of 2018
South Korean firm Samsung has topped the smartphone market in the first quarter of the year, i.e., January-March for three months. Earlier, Samsung's smartphone was at the top of the smartphone market in the first quarter of 2017.
According to Gartner, the global organization of market research, this year, Samsung has held 20.5 percent of the market share. In the first quarter of the year, seven million and 85 million 64 thousand units sold in the world of Samsung.
According to Gartner, Apple is the only company after Samsung to take possession of the market. However, the Chinese brands jointly own 70 percent of the market.
Smartphones have sold 1.3 percent more smartphone in the first quarter of this year than the first quarter of the global market. In this year, a little development in the smartphone market is noticeable.
