Me engendró mi padre en el año 2008 y ví luz por primera vez en el año 2009. Me llamaron Bitcoin y de cariño me dicen BTC. Mi padre se hace llamar Satoshi Nakamoto, aunque nadie sabe su nombre real.
Fui creada para hacer pagos electrónicos sin necesidad de intermediarios como los bancos o plataformas de pago tipo Visa o Mastercard. Algunos me dan el uso debido, pero otros me tomaron como refugio de valor... tan lindos :)

Asi es, Bitcoin (BTC) es una criptomoneda creada hace más de 10 años por Satoshi Nakamoto con la idea de romper la dependencia y hegemonía de los grandes banqueros a nivel mundial, y que ha venido aumentando su valor exponencialmente en los últimos 4 años, aunque en el 2017 tuvo su tope (se cotizó por encima de los 20.000 USD en algunas casa de cambio en Asia) hoy en dia se cotiza cerca a los 9.500 USD.

Porque se le llama "CRIPTOMONEDA"?

Por el sencillo hecho de que esta configurada con códigos encriptados, que permiten que cada moneda creada sea única y no pueda ser falsificada, pues BTC realmente es un código informático que nos muestra en tiempo real las características que definen cada unidad, es decir, cada Bitcoin.

Un poquito complicado?

Piensa que Bitcoin es como ese dinero que tienes en tu cuenta bancaria y transfieres o consumes cuando tu quieres por medio de Tarjetas de Débito y de Crédito, con la salvedad de que Bitcoin no está regulada por ningún banco ni entidad gubernamental, Bitcoin es libre. Bingoooooo, se eleva y encesta.

Hoy en día muchos establecimientos alrededor del mundo reciben Bitcoin como moneda de pago, aunque es más usado como reserva de valor en los países tercer mundistas.

Se puede obtener Bitcoin como pago por servicios prestados o por servicios recibidos, puedes minar con la maquinaria adecuada, puedes recibirlo como donación, puedes ganarlo en pequeñas cantidades en plataformas llamadas Faucets que te pagan por mirar publicidad y también puedes comprarlas en las Casas de Cambio Bitcoin llamados Exchange.

Básicamente ya aprendimos lo qué es Bitcoin, pero aún queda mucha tela por cortar.
