Toy Exhibit at the Museum
I recently saw this exhibit of toys through the ages at the museum. It's a little odd to see things I've owned and played with in a museum. The exhibit started with a huge glad case fill of action figures.
After that, things were broken up by era. The eras were pretty large, with 1965 to 1980 in one group. So of course I zeroed in on the Star Wars toys. Simon was also a favorite of mine growing up.
They also had a display on dangerous toys through the ages. My favorite was Jigsaw Jr. Safe. Fun. Constructive.
They also had large replicas of some games, like Operation and Battleship. To give you an idea of scale, the pegs are made of sections of PVC pipe, and the yellow thing is a stool.
