Akşam ezanları semada yankılanırken,
Evlerine koşan çocuk nefesinde hatırla beni,
Hergün sevgilinin yolunu gözleyen,
Aşığın bitmez tükenmez inadında,
Rotasını yaşama çeviren kuşların,
Özgürlüğe açılan kanadında hatırla beni,
Bacasında umut tüten evlerle dolu,
Kimselerin uğramadığı şehirlerde,
Şairin yüreğini döktüğü mısralarda,
Maşuğun habersiz kaldığı şiirlerde hatırla beni...
