People should not misinterpret these ratings either! Without A's and the majority rated as C it makes it seem rather negative, but I looked into it and on their website they explain how they came to these ratings.

"Other rating agencies use a scale from triple A to single C. In that scheme a B grade is “junk” and a C is close to failure. In contrast, Weiss Ratings’ B is “good” and C is “fair.” Based on a study of the Weiss Ratings by the U.S. Government Accountability Office, an institution is not categorized “vulnerable” unless its grade is D+ or lower."

So basically everything that gets a C is counted as 'fair' and B's are 'good'.
With this in mind, it gives a new dimension looking at these charts.

This is welcomed news @cryptographic. I am only upset I was left holding powder when BTS ran. At least I was able to add two more batches...one for some LTC and the other for fiat.

As for the ranking it is good although I admit I have no idea who Weiss is. Anyway, they seem a tad bearish on BTC and others. I see there were no A rankngs so being in the B range is an accomplishment.

STEEM and BTS are going to do really well this year....too much activity on the blockchain. What is nice, is both can focus upon growth while BTC, ETH, and LTC are trying to figure out how to scale up.

Much different outlook on things....and set of problems.

To be fair bitcoin has many flaws it's tx are way to slow and it's mining consumes huge amount of electricity too and man it's fees are so high not many can afford the fees of btc and to me the best crypto right now on the internet is steem it is super fast like rocket it has no fees and it consumes very very little electricity too and what more it can be mined with the proof of brain and proof of stake and it has zero scalability problem, it's wallet is also super secure, if for x reason we lost our steem wallet key steem give us option to recover it too, steem blockchain continuously developing and new interesting platforms are building on top of steem blockchain regularly, so to me steem is the future crypto and we surely see more growth in steem soon, thanks for sharing your nice thoughts with us, Stay blessed

As you predicted STEEM, EOS, ADA listed at the top and BTS is following! The truth is revealing now! But you saw it, you smelled it before them :D That's the important thing! Amazing update and 2018 will be a great year for all of us!

Your analysis of the coins fundamentals is spot on HR, good to see some external validation. Many people commenting that this list is fake, I think it's a wake up call. Do I agree with all its ratings? No, but definitely the top rated ones seem to make sense.
I am annoyed that as Bittrex is not signing up new users for the past month, and Poloniex is slow with deposits, this has resulted in squiring less STEEM than wanted.
Oh well...in real estate they say the deal of the decade comes around once a week, let's hope that applies to Crypto too ;)

That really is incredible... and very exciting!

We all knew the Steem blockchain was good, but it's really exciting for that to be recognized by Weiss. I noticed the entire crypto market got a boost as soon as these results were released... I think it was the little booster shot everyone needed to bring that money in from the sidelines.

steem got B- that pretty good . It's very good in comparison to the rest of the list and Ethereum , EOS both got higher ratings. Yes you are right we’ve made some pretty good choices here but why there is no A grade cryptocurrency?

B- is a very good rating when considering that this is the first report on a still rather speculative sector. I think it's very reasonable that there weren't even any B+, let alone A-, as we're still in a very early stage of development. The competition now will be for the first to make B+!
