Should you use QFL trading methods on smaller timeframes to daytrade?
There has been alot of discussion lately about using 15min candles or dare I say, even 5 min candles to daytrade using QFL style trading.. Honestly, I totally understand the desire for some action, and to keep busy all day... But is this really safe, does it make sense from a risk reward point of view??
I hope this video helps some of our traders to see how risky daytrading can be, and how profitable Small Account Building trades are... Thats why I have been promoting only Position Trading on 2 month 1 hour candle charts or higher.. and Small Account Building trades on 1 to 2 month 1hour candle charts with $300 to $500 per trade..

Luc, Just wanted to thank you for sharing your method that I now have coined as The QuickFingers Method. It is a huge success, I have followed the basic guidelines and my acct is starting to gain faster and faster each week that trades come through. I have been posting my trades as they happen as often as I can to help share!! In 5 years your method will be a standard for traders!!!

I knew this daytrading subject would be a little less popular for all those who are using QFL on smaller timeframes, but I really wanted to highlight the dangers, and that one hour charts and higher are much much safer in crypto... From the start of this blog, my desire has been to show everyone how to trade safely, and grow their accounts.. Thanks for setting and example and sharing your trades..
I am glad you decided to share info on small act trades cause I found them to be a tad bit more challenging than the position trades. My advice to people in this space is to stick to the safe trades!! Why do we need more? Even with a small account these trades can be significant. In a 2 day period I went from .25 btc to .33 btc. That is a major jump!! plenty!!! Thanks again luc for your gift to the community!!

Would you be willing to make a video about Micro Account Trading(for those starting with $500 or $1000)? I think there might be a lot of us students from not so rich countries that would benifit greatly from those kinds of vids.
I started watching your videos from the beginning and you don't talk much about those real beginnings with only a few hundered bucks and how startegy changes then.

Micro hahaha. I have 12 bucks in one account that i trade. wanna talk about micro. Its growing though!! Luc does mention account building trades though. Find the coins that whip up and down with fast and wide price action.
I know he mentiones it briefly, yeah. But it'd be nice to know more details, for example
how volatile the coins need to actually be and where to find them(I'm guessing binance is too big now because I went through all the coins with ETH pairs and they aren't that volatile being 30% up/down every day - unless you want to be making 3% gains imo you have to wait days for dips and then days to recover and with 30-50$ per trade even with 30% gain that takes a long time to build a roll). Also how much of the bankroll to invest in a single trade when you only have $500 and other general mistakes and tips he'd give to someone trying to build a solid roll from just a few hundered bucks besides the obvious strategy of buying dips on 1h candles.
As for you I don't know why would you trade with 12 bucks unless it's just for fun or to make a few trades to gain confidence. I want to make some side income from this so that I don't need to work during the summer for 3 bucks per hour so I'm taking it as seriously as I can.

If you are taking "votes" for new video content I would like to vote for account building explanations. I have gone to the account building section of Slack but they don't seem to be doing it the same way you are or maybe they are just keeping the "good ones" to themselves so as not to disrupt the trading pattern which is totally understandable.
It just seems like in order to get large percentages (50%+) you have to wait a week or so. This would be equivalent to the $30/day income of the hypothetical daytrader in your video. (Although I will never daytrade again since I had exactly what you are talking about in the video happen to me!)
So my question is, are you in several of these at once to make more $? Or do you just know how to pick them (and I don't)?
The problem with AB is that every situation will be a little different, because some charts will be amazing and give you trades everyday, and other charts will be less favorable and you will only get a trade every few days.. Your job (if you want to AB trade) is to find those great charts and then keep them to yourself.. I even have some trouble sharing examples in my videos, because after the video, I may as well not trade that coin anylonger now that it has too many eyes on it..
Hi Luc. I feel so blessed when I first came across your videos about 7 weeks ago. I had been in crypto for about 3 weeks at that time, using the 15 min charts getting trapped a lot in coins before I found you. I am still learning, and wary of a lot.
At this time I am stuck using your position trading method, as I don't trust Hitbtc (they like to keep peoples coins based on reviews) or many of the others, sticking at this time only to Binance. They don't have any account building coins there that I have found. But I have come just short of doubling my small investment using your position trading in like 10 weeks.
I know you are really busy and overwhelmed, but just wanted you to know how thankful to your generous nature I am. You are a good dude and I hope life continues to bless you.
Thanks for posting and letting us know how you are doing. I have been using HitBTC for atleast 6 months, maybe more and I have never had any issues.. One thing I really like about them (besides all the whippy charts) is there forked coins.. whenever there has been a fork, I always send my BTC or whatever to HitBTC, they split your coins for you fast and support all forks.. I have been very impressed with that.. Plus they let you trade pre ICO coins.. thats insane... I have nothing but good experiences with Hitbtc..

I appreciate the guidance here. I've been trading your method since August and I never got in to the daytrading channel on the slack. It was too much risk for me. I've also had a ton of success with AB. I finally got on Steemit and upvoted all your posts. Sorry it took so long!
