ON-THE-JOB TRAINING in RPN (Radio Philippines Network) - DAY 1

Whats up Everyone! It's been a long time no talk and no see 😁. Just got busy lately of my training as a broadcast Engineer apprentice/trainee

Please be with me one more time and wanna share my beautiful experiences here in Radio Philippine Network (RPN).🙃

Exactly 7 O'clock in the morning , as an apprentice, we directly checked the status of every machines which fully controlled the whole studio in transmitting audio and video informations.

This is actually our first day as an OJT in the studio of DYKC which is exactly located in Maguikay Mandaue City, Philippines. In studio, one of the engineer also taught us the basic operation on how they sync and process the audio from anchor booth and ready for transmission live through Am.

I also learned something very important in the aspects of radio broadcasting communication which is the proper way of mixing a certain level of volume and timing from anchor booth using a mixer to tx station through i.p (internet protocol).

As an apprentice here, it's not easy to operate a certain program specially when you are operating and handling a live on air program. You need to have the skill to listen the output audio for you to determine the best time to insert a specific plug ins. This is also to prevent DEAD AIR during live broadcast.
