【Travel Canada】Vancouver International Airport 2: How to enjoy at the airport : バンクーバー国際空港を楽しむには

2019年2月、飛行機の遅れもあって、バンクーバー国際空港で長い時間を過ごすことになりました。空港は広く、歩き回るのも楽しい時間でした。空港の様子をご覧ください。

In February 2019, due to the delay of the plane, I spend a long time at Vancouver International Airport.　I walked around the airport and had a good time.　Please enjy the picture I took.

まずはインフォメーションセンターで空港案内図をもらいましょう。

Let's get an airport map in the information center.

行きの乗り継ぎのとき、最も思い出に残ったのは、広場に置かれていたピアノ。旅人が足元にさりげなく荷物を置いて、それぞれ素晴らしい演奏をしていました。帰路の乗り継ぎの際に寄ってみたのですが、ピアノそのものが撤去されていました。期間限定のイベントかなにかで設置されていたピアノだったのでしょう。

The most memorable I left is the piano which was placed in the Airport lobby.　The travelers were playing wonderfully.
When I look at it on my way home, the piano was removed. It probably was placed there for a limited time.

フードコートで買ったフローズンヨーグルト。6カナダドルくらいでした。

Frozen yogurt bought at the food court. It was about 6 Canadian dollars.

出発ロビーはこんな広さ。中央には大きな水槽が。

This is departure lobby. There is a big aquarium in the center.

中国のお正月の時期で、飾りが華やかでした。

At that time, Chinese New Year's Day, the decoration was gorgeous.

本屋さん、クイックマッサージ、チョコレートショップ、バーなど。

Bookstore, quick massage, chocolate shop, bar etc.

出発ゲートの一角では、チェスゲームも楽しめます。

You can also enjoy chess games in the space near the departure gate.
