Back to the future part 39 - My travels - Hot Air balloon over Angkor Wat
A look back through my travel photos from before Steemit
What a way to see Angkor Wat and the surrounding temples of Siem Reap in the North of Cambodia. We toured by foot on Terra firma, but I'd say the people in the hot air balloon got tremendous views of all of the temples. I took this photo on our last day, otherwise, we would have looked at booking a hot air balloon tour ourselves.
Come to think of it, I have never been up in a hot air balloon. Time to add this to my to do list. I think it would be a pretty cool thing to try anywhere in the world on a calm sunny day.
I traveled around South East Asia and Australia back in 2007/2008 with my then girlfriend/now wife.
It was a trip of a lifetime and I loved every minute of it.
