Annecy, France - Day 1
Hi everyone!!
The past four days I've been on a vacation with my family traveling through France and Switzerland. This post is about the first day of our trip in Annecy, France, where our hotel was located! Hope you enjoy!!

Our hotel sits in a gorgeous park in the middle of Annecy, situated around a huge lake with crystal clear water where you can boat and swim.
Here's our picture of our hotel from the front!
The hotel, park, and lake are all nestled in a valley surrounded by gorgeous forested mountains. All in all, it made for a pretty spectacular scene:

And the pretty walking and biking path that goes all the way around the lake!
After arriving at our hotel and checking out the lake, we decided to head into old town Annecy to get dinner (we had arrived kind of late). Here are some pictures I took on the walk there:

After a short 10 minute walk, we arrived in the old section of Annecy. Once there, I could see why people call it the "Venice of France". The town is riddled with canals and bridges, and boasts ancient buildings and museums:
This picture is cool because it's a view of the castle from down in the town streets!
We found a good place to eat and after dinner, we decided to continue exploring. We took a bunch of pictures on the main bridge before continuing to walk though (the same place as the first picture in this post)!

By the time we walked back to the hotel, it was dark. And the city was just as pretty at night as it was during the day:
All in all, it was a fantastic first day!! :D

Well it looks like you are on your way to getting famous, someone stole some of your writing and tried to pass it off as their own. I suppose that's one sign you are starting to get more popular here :)
