Travelogue in Cappadocia Turkey - 2

The famous balloon ride, except that I'm proud of my photos, I want to share with you the experience itself.
It is possible to go on a hot air balloon ride in many places on earth but I quickly understood that Cappadocia was the place dreamed for that, to see this hundred balloons rise slowly in the air participates as much in the magic than the fantastic scenery that we could admire from the nacelle.

The first deal is to have the finances to afford the ride, here 165 euros for a ride of 1:30 and a glass of champagne on landing (tradition inherited from the hot air balloon brothers).
If the weather is good the second deal occurs, you have to get up early, be near his home at 5:15 to get picked up by a mini-van.
Arrived at the site, a coffee and biscuits were offered to us and the inflating balloon show began.
We have a gondola of 12 people plus the pilot, for the Chinese there are nacelles of 30, a procedure of landing is explained to us but which will be useless thanks to the absence of wind.
Then starts the take off, always at night, painless so it goes smoothly, without jolting, the only noise comes from the burner that the pilot operates with different wrists. The night and the ground light up flames coming from the other balloons, unreal moment. We see the dawn lighten the horizon and already we are 300 meters.

With the arrival of the sun, the light is more valiant and we see appear the first elements of the landscape, especially as we will soon reach our maximum altitude of 800 meters.

Finally the sun is completely detached from the horizon and begins its ascent. The rays of lights come to dance the colors of the rock and gives them a golden hue. Above the hot air balloons perched in the sky reveal their gaudy colors to give a festive air to the scene. Everyone is relaxed in the basket, a new moment of wonder when the pilot turns off the burner and we drift silently.

The end of the journey is approaching but first of all the hot air balloon engages in a magnificent canyon, we graze the trees and the rocky walls under the amused look of our pilot.

The landing is like taking off, without any shock. To avoid towing the basket, the pilot and his team on the ground we managed to put it on the tray of their truck.
This was followed by a balloon flight certificate and each received a glass of champagne that was suspected of being alcohol-free. All the better, it was just 07:00 in the morning.
