Sunset Cliffs Natural Park - San Diego, California

Along the coast in my neighborhood is a treasured and unique geology and idea place to see the sunset over the Pacific Ocean. The sandstone cliffs display remarkable layers of sediment, and the waves have carved caves and arches in a few areas.

If you are flying on American Airlines with San Diego airport as your destination, this is a similar spot to the photo they use on the departure gate screen. :)
