A short trip to Garmisch-Partenkirchen

At the end of December we wanted to spend a relaxing day somewhere near Munich.
Because our son is still very small, we can not plan long trips but can drive a maximum of 1 hour to spend a few hours there.
We love to go to Garmisch-Partenkirchen and so we have this time decided to go there. We were this time to grab a bit of mountain air and were not able to drive on the Zugspitze as usual.

am Ende Dezember wollten wir ein entspannten Tag irgendwo in der Nähe vom München verbringen.
Weil unser Sohn noch sehr klein ist, können wir keine lange Reisen plannen sondern können maximal 1 Stunde fahren um dort ein paar Stunden zu verbringen.
Wir fahren sehr gerne nach Garmisch-Partenkirchen und so haben wir uns auch dieses mal entschieden. Wir waren dieses mal um ein bisschen Bergluft zu schnappen und nicht auf die Zugspitze zu fahren wie üblich.

If we speak about Zugspitze, here is the famous train that goes up there.
Wenn man von Zugspitze spricht, hier ist die berühmte Bahn die nach oben geht.
It was a wonderful weather outside. The sun was still there, illuminating the mountains in the distance. The city was full of life, of course, there were still 2 days left until the Four Hills Tournament and also 2 until New Year's Eve.
Es war ein wunderbares Wetter draussen. Die Sonne war noch da und beleuchtete die Berge in der Ferne. Die Stadt war voll Leben, klar, es waren noch 2 Tage bis zu den Vierschanzentournee und auch 2 bis zum Silvester.
In the end we found an interesting eating place. We didn't know that @shaka had a burger place, directly in the middle of the town.
Am Ende haben wir ein interessantes Lokal gefunden. Wir wussten nicht das der @shaka auch ein Burgerladen hat. Direkt im Zentrum.
