I’ve only traveled in Europe by train and it’s a very similar experience! Took trains for over a month and had stops in Netherlands, Germany, Czech Rep, Austria, Italy, France, Spain, France again, then Netherlands, and other than the time when we needed it to buy tickets, our passports were only checked ONCE on one train and that was when we went from Madrid to Paris! EU is so cool how connected it all is! Honestly makes me get the vibe like in the USA how all the states are connected (except everything is better in Europe!)

Sounds great!
It was the adventure of a lifetime! And combining A Eur-Rail Pass (pass for either free or discounted train tickets) and also AirBnB made it so affordable that I think it only cost about ~ $1,000-$2,000 for the whole month long trip I think!
