A Place You Can't Find on the Map, Chapter II - Camp in the Middle of Nowhere

After our 2 hour long trip through the steep mountain of Rodopi, Bulgaria, we reached our logging area.

This used to be an old summer camp for school children a lot of years back but it had been neglected for long. The local municipality has been trying to sell off some of the old buildings but due to the difficulty in reaching the camp, few buyers have ever shown any interest.

This building as well as the previous one were the old camp's residential places where the campers went to sleep.

This was the canteen in its decrepit state.

One of the evenings, a wild rabbit approached us and some of the kids in the group tried to catch it but it was really fast. We guess that's how it managed to stay alive in the forest.
