A piece of paradise at Lake Danao Park, Camotes Island, Philippines

During our trip to Camotes Island, our first stop for our tour was at Lake Danao Park. It is located at Pajican Island of Camotes and is one of the biggest lakes in Visayas. Lake Danao is just 30 minutes away from Santiago Bay Garden and Resort, where we stayed overnight.

Going around the lake on an outrigger or motorized boat is a must when you visit Lake Danao Park, a cruise or a "Sakanaw" takes around one hour and gives tourist a scenic view of the lake as they pass along its coast.

We really enjoyed the whole tour here as we got to enjoy the stunning view of the lake.

Guests can also enjoy the beauty of the lake while having a picnic where you can bring your own food at designated areas around the lake. However, there are also restaurants nearby where you can have your lunch or snacks.
