Abu Dhabi: Seikh Zayed Mosque

Hello Steemians!

Today is a day for travel blog! A while ago me and my fiancée went for a 6-month trip around Asia. For some reason, once we ended up in Dubai where we spent roughly a week. I don’t think I have to introduce this crazy city to anyone, we know enough about it, even without visiting it. If I am wrong: Dubai is the largest city in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the capital of the Emirates of Dubai, one of the seven emirates in the country.

Hoy es el día de hacer un blog de viajes. Hace algún tiempo nos fuimos de viaje por Asia y estuvimos por allí casi 6 meses. Durante una semana en aquellos seis meses estuvimos en Dubai. Creo que la mayoría de nosotros sabe bastantes cosas acerca de Dubai, realmente no necesitas visitarla para conocerla. Dubai es la ciudad más grande de los Emiratos Arabes Unidos (UAE) y la capital de los Emiratos de Dubai, uno de los siete emiratos del país.

Un día condujimos a Abu Dhabi que es el capital de UAE. Está a tan solo una hora de Dubai y puedes visitar la mezquita más grande del país, se llama Seikh Zayed Mosque.

The Seikh Zayed Mosque was constructed from 1996 to 2007. Of course, this is the main worship place in the country, it can be visited by more than 40,000 worshippers at the same time (!!!). It is a huge building and it looks mesmerizing. We were lucky enough to spend the sunset there which was truly amazing.

El Seikh Zayed Mosque fue construida desde 1996 hasta 2007. Es el mayor lugar del país para rendir culto y puede albergar alrededor de 40,000 creyentes al mismo tiempo!!! Es un edificio grandioso y de una belleza incomparable. Tuvimos suerte de poder estar allí para ver el atardecer, fue realmente increíble.
It is a huge building with four 100m tall minarets in the corners. It has three prayer rooms, the biggest can hold up to 7,000 people inside.

Es un edificio enorme con cuatro minaretes, uno en cada esquina de 100m de alto cada uno. Consta de tres salas para rezar, la mayor de ellas puede albergar 7,000 personas dentro de ella.

Fun fact: it has the biggest carpet in the world, it measures more than 5,500m2. There had to be something in it which is the biggest in the world. Haha

Dato curioso: tiene la alfombra más grande del mundo, mide más de 5,500m2. Tenía que haber algo que fuera lo más grande del mundo. Haha

I can't really describe how it feels to be there so here are some pictures, have a look and visit. It is not that expensive to fly to the UAE anymore, and surprisingly there is affordable accommodation as well if you really look for it.

No puedo describir que se siente al estar ahí, pero a cambio os voy a mostrar algunas fotos que hice cuando estuve allí. Échales un vistazo y ve de viaje, realmente no es tan caro volar y alojarte allí. Te sorprendería la cuantidad de ofertas que puedes encontrar.
