As Anthony Bourdain once said - "Do we really want to travel in hermetically sealed popemobiles through the rural provinces of France, Mexico and the Far East, eating only in Hard Rock Cafes and McDonalds? Or do we want to eat without fear, tearing into the local stew, the humble taqueria's mystery meat, the sincerely offered gift of a lightly grilled fish head? I know what I want. I want it all. I want to try everything once."

The night markets of South East Asia are an attraction itself. It is bright, lively and most definitely tasty. This overland journey from India to Australia has been a circus for my pallet. There hasn't been one boring food day. Just the other day I tried Durian, a yummy exotic fruit!

Food is a terrific ice breaker, a bonding factor and a gateway to some amazing friendships. Every day I discover new senses in mouth!
