Next Bike Touring Lhokseumawe to Sabang Island | Etape #2

in #travel6 years ago (edited)

Hello Steemian friend, i'm @bonesumpal . Welcome to my adventurer, enjoy.

Day 2 (August 14, 2013)
At 4 am I and Asbun were built to eat Sahur, after which we prayed at dawn and slept again. The journey is very tiring, because this is my first experience rowing bike during the day. We will rest a day in Pidie, to normalize the condition of the body. There was something strange when I woke up, my body hard to lift and all the strained veins like a twisted string and then released. Ha ha ha (laugh), I have to sleep again all day.

That afternoon I just miss it, I'll wake up when the breaking time arrived. At 4:30 pm I woke up, my body was getting better. I was invited to break the fast at the Secretariat of Nature Lovers Jabal Everest Sigli, we are getting ready to pedal a bike there ngabuburit time before breaking the fast.

It will be our last night in Pidie District, tomorrow we will continue our journey to Banda Aceh. The most difficult route we will go through the next day, the route to Saree. I'll explain a bit about the route we'll be going tomorrow. Saree is a plateau that exists between two districts, namely Pidie and Aceh Besar districts. The path is a lot of corners and of course a long incline. We will get through it guys ...

Day 3 (August 15, 2013)
At night we had enough rest, as usual we wake up to eat the dawn prayer meal and get ready to continue the journey to Banda Aceh. I and Asbun will leave at 6:00 am from Kopala Pidie Secretariat. The condition of the body is back to normal and the spirit is more passionate, we are close. Staying through one more challenge we will arrive.

We've been walking with Asbun, suddenly Asbun stopped. Asbun bike is broken, his oarster bolts are loose and almost fall. The day is still too dark, no workshop is open. Asbun's first trial with his bike, I have to stay focused so that my mental remains stable. Asbun tied his oar bolts with his hands for a while, continued to paddle slowly until he met the garage.

We have to find the workshop sevelum up the first incline Saree, in Padang Tiji no one workshop that open, know because we are too early to be there. I see Asbun has started to not control his emotions, I can not get carried away in his emotions. I keep thinking in my heart to be mentally and physically normal. Finally we found a car tire repair shop in Tijue district, maybe this is part of my prayer that was answered by God.

Asbun had started smiling and I was already getting excited again to continue the journey. Something I forgot to tell, I and Asbun had a chance to argue about his bike. I could not bear to hear him fluttering on the way, I told him to take a freight car and told him to wait for me in Banda Aceh. Until he paused and stopped frantic.

After Asbun's bicycle was repaired, we continued the journey again. The first climb runs smoothly we passed, though many stops even pushing our bikes. The challenge is in front of the eyes and barrage, we must be able to survive to the end.

The longest track is a rolling car hill, that's the term of the riders. On this hill a lot of trucked car truck halfway down the lane, they should reduce the cargo. We were at the starting point of the climb, everything went smoothly. In the middle we have started to loosen its physicality, we have to push the bike and find a shelter to rest.

The Medan - Banda Aceh cross road is the most difficult for those who use the bicycle, after this route is overwhelmed all will be normal again even will decrease always. The distance we will travel is 110 km with travel time of 3 hours using car vehicle and 10 hour target by bicycle.

Finally with all the patience and high spirits, we arrived in Saree at noon. We uploaded at Saree Mosque for bathing, praying and sleeping for a while to release the feeling of tiredness.

After a few hours of rest at the Saree Mosque, we prepare to continue our journey. Given the condition of our bodies have started normal again, the mind was fresh. This time we will have a little fun on the street, because the route is decreasing steadily. Asbun had looked a bit happy because the bike was no longer up and I was enjoying this trip patiently. The city of Banda Aceh is near, our target at 8:00 pm we will get there.

It was getting dark, we were out of the red zone on the Seulawah route. But although there is no climb again, still tired and every time must stop rowing and lay down the roadside. Sometimes I invite chat Asbun to amuse myself bahwan singing while laughing.

Open our second fast on the road, which is a small mosque in Indrapuri. We were welcomed by the mosque board to eat together and pray together. After that we resumed our journey.

The second journey night, as usual head lamp we have provided. Suddenly there is a call from our friend Bojang Canal, we will be picked up by him upon entering the gate of Banda Aceh. Finally after struggling in the streets, we arrived in the city of Banda Aceh safely at 21.00 pm. A great achievement that we did not think would work. The journey is one step further to Sabang Island, but we have to rest in Banda Aceh.

Asbun laughed loudly, he yelled and kept shouting while hugging me. The tears are still flowing, so is what we experienced. We are immediately taken to the Secretariat of Nature Lovers of Serambi University of Mecca and will rest there.

Bek tuwo keurabbon mantong! 👏👍
