Believe me you don't. Inside the vehicle, it is fine as one looks big, but outside one turns to be the preys. Lions in particular could decide that one is their breakfast... or animals lile hippos or rhinos could also decide to attack if they feel disturbed.

In short, a camera with a good zoom is safer :)
