Explore With Me : Rhodes GREECE

The largest of the twelve Dodecanese Islands on Egean Sea, Rhodes is a beautiful Greek island which we visited for 3 days for one of my friend's bachelorette weekend. It is off coast of Turkey so we used a ferry to travel.

It is a big island and we rented a car to travel around. But if you don't have a license you can use taxi or there are buses working regularly and going to every part of the island.

We stayed at a stone house from airbnb, it was right in the old town, where the bazaar and restaurants are. It was perfect and gave us the true Rhodes feeling more than we'd feel if stayed at a hotel.

First day we left for Anthony Quinn Beach. On the way the Kalithea Beach was lookingbeautiful so we did stop to take some pictures.

It is said that Anthony Quinn loved Greece so much while shooting The Guns of Navarone, he decided to buy a secluded bay but the purchase anulled. But the beach is still called after his name. There are beach clubs in this bay where you can enjoy a drink or two, sunbath and swim in clearest waters. Unfortunately I may have enjoyed it a little too much and neglected to take a picture :)

The next day we drove to Saint Paul's Beach. It was on the other side of the island. But it was worth the ride. This bay is one of the most beautiful beaches I've seen in my life with its rocky surrondings and clear water.

We enjoyed our quite time here so much we stayed and swam during the sunset.

They light up the little restaurant/bar at night an it creates a magical scenery.
