Joe T. Garcia’s Mexican Restaurant was established on July 4, 1935 by Mr. and Mrs. Joe T. Garcia. With a seating capacity of only sixteen, Joe, his wife Jessie, and their five children ran their tiny business with love and determination. Their business was destined for greatness due to Joe’s stellar personality, and of course, the mouth-watering recipes. (Jessie was affectionately known as Mamasuez to all who knew her.)

We had lunch at the always fabulous Joe T.’s today. The sun was shining and the temperature was in the mid 60’s.
I decided to walk the entire restaurant as the garden looked extra lush! I wasn’t disappointed.
Joe T. Garcia’s occupies a whole block in the Stockyards of Fort Worth. There lavish gardens, laid back atmosphere, friendly staff and affordable menu bring us back again and again!
