Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @tmayd:

This is a view of Svornosti Square in Český Krumlov. Its footprint originates in the middle ages, with its square design and arcades running around the perimeter. Even though the façades have undergone inevitable changes over the centuries, their transformation was halted early enough (or their restoration have been conducted with respect of the past) so that the historical character of the ensemble has been preserved.

I rewarded @tmayd winning entry with some extra upvote. Feel free to visit her blog and check out some of her other entries.

Thank you for your submissions. Have a great day and keep on Steeming!

Please feel free to check out some of my other recent posts.

Quote of the day: “We travel for romance, we travel for architecture, and we travel to be lost.”

A visit to Prague back in 2015 turned out to be a grand and pleasant surprise.
The city far exceeded my expectations, and I was happy to see the abundance of life and culture throughout the area.
These street musicians we happened by on a hill near St. Vitus Cathedral and Prague Castle added to a joyous day with the best of friends.
No doubt we will return!

What a wonderful entry that deserved to be featured in today's edition. Thank you so much for sharing your memories with the rest of us. Have a great day. Tomas

Thank you Tomas!
We had a great visit for several days to Prague and the surrounding area and can't wait to return.

Front view of the Silesian Theatre ("Slezske Divadlo" in the Czech language) in Opava. Situated on the Upper Square in the historic center of the city, facing the city hall, the theatre was built in 1805, making it one of the oldest and most important theatres in the Czech Republic.

Inhabitants of the Vltava River. In the background - the same Charles Bridge, the most tourist place in Prague and one of the must-see monuments. Visible from afar, it spans the local river majestically. The two monumental gates on each bank are impressive but certainly worth a serious clean up.

My current photography does not mean artistic goals. The temperature in Prague is now climbing to 30 degrees Celsius. And just the important green table is not translated into English.
The water is icy and you can spray with it too. (Or someone else.)

Ďáblický cemetery was built between 1912 and 1914 in the Cubist style by the architect Vlastislav Hofman. In the central part there is the honorary burial ground of the Yugoslav and Italian partisans from the Second World War and the victims of the Prague Uprising. In the northern part of the cemetery there is the honorary burial ground of the executed and tortured victims of Communism in the 1950s, established in the 1990s. In 2017 it was declared a cultural monument of the Czech Republic.

Hello and congrats to the winner @tmayd, the view looks great and the description you wrote is informative.

So, here is my post for today. This is Český Krumlov, a little town in Chezch Republic, north of Prague. Here reminds me Brugges, because of the epic and fairy tale look. And it's popular because the city is in the list of UNESCO World Heritage.

Hope you like, enjoy the view!

"The beauty of Prague at night"

Prague is an impressive city in the day and night. By day, you don't get tired of admiring its monuments and its emblematic buildings, but Prague at night becomes the most magical place in the world thanks to the lights and the charm of its streets.

I agree. The nights are also beautiful.

Thanks for your comment @ohicklin. Regards

On the photo you can see the view of Loreta, baroque pilgrimage site, located in Prague's district of Hradčany. It consists of a cloister, the church of the Lord’s Birth, the Santa Casa and a clock tower. In the tower there is a 27-bell carillon that plays the Loretan Marian song "A Thousand Times We Greet Thee" (every hour from 9 am to 6 pm).

There is a lot to see in Czech republic. Every structure has a special attraction. Well, i do not really know the story behind this horse but i believe there will surely be something interesting behind it. It is situated in Brno. Anyone who knows the story should kindly update me. Thanks

One amazing transportation system in Prague is the ferry, it cannot be overemphasized, it is a combination of both effective, efficient and comfortable. I crossed the vlata river with the ferry and it was an amazing ride.

That is fantastic, something I should try myself:)
