Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @nenio:

I found these stairs quite interesting, they are near the Castle of Prague. They are known as the Town Hall stairs or Radnické schody. The sculpture on the base of the stairs corresponds to John Nepomucene, there are two angels at his feet. The angel at his left has a finger in his mouth depicting the silence of Nepomucene that costs his life.

I rewarded @nenio entry with some extra upvote. Feel free to visit his blog and check out some of his other entries.

Thank you for your submissions. Have a great day and keep on Steeming!

Tyn Church is located on Prague’s Old Town Square, the main parish church of the Stare Mesto district. Construction of the cathedral began in the XIV century, and finally ended only in 1511. Tourists always take pictures of the temple from the front. This photo is from the back of the temple. You can get here through the small streets of Prague.

Panoramic view of Prague and some of its bridges taken from the edge of the Letná Park. Perched on a hill right above the Vltava River in the center of Prague, the Letná Park is a large park that is known for many great view points, such as this one.

Snap shot taken in the Friendship Park (Park Přátelství in the Czech language), a large park found in the Prague neighborhood of Prosek. Built between 1976 and 1983, the park boasts a unique system of water cascades, ponds and fountains.

Bethlehem Chapel, Old Town, Prague
P1100161.JPG
At this point Master Jan Hus preached in 1402 - 1413. The place is the same, but the chapel is different. The original chapel fell in 1786.
The present chapel dates back to 1952. All its period plans, paintings and archaeological research were used in its construction. It was the only church building that was built in our country under the Communist rule of 1948-1989.

St. Vitus Cathedral
This is a fabulous Gothic Cathedral inside and out. Your first view, as you enter through a ‘tunnel’ from the castle square, is breathtaking. The detail is incredible, and check out the amazing gargoyles! Inside has extremely intricate stained glass windows, old & new. If you love a Gothic cathedral, don’t miss this one!

Old Town Square, Historical Center.
This is the historical center of Prague — all old buildings and cobblestones — and everyone is here. It’s always busy, but is so large that people are not overwhelming. There are amazing buildings and churches around the square, as well as plenty of restaurants. Have a glass of ‘hot wine’ and walk to your heart’s content. Wear comfortable shoes — the entire historic district is cobblestone — no heels!
