Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great weekend! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @dimiimp:

Petřín Lookout Tower. I've been told it's the best view in Prague, and I believe it! Not as daunting as the Eiffel Tower to climb, it is worth ascending or descending by the stairs. It's the only way to get to the first viewing level, which is unobstructed. Once you make it to the top there will probably be someone standing there looking down the stairs at you sweating your tail off but it's worth it!

I rewarded @dimiimp entry with some extra upvote. Feel free to visit his blog and check out some of his other entries.

Thank you for your submissions. Have a great day and keep on Steeming!

Golden sunset over Opava - Kylesovice with the Church of St. John of Nepomuk in the background. Home to almost 60,000 people, Opava is a beautiful city known for stunning architecture and the center and former capital city of the Czech part of Silesia - a historical region of Central Europe.

Stunning sunset over a beautiful city! Well worth featuring in today's edition. Thank you so much for your submission and have a great day.

Night view of Charles bridge
Actually I liked to walk around from Charles bridge to old town. I stayed near by the bridge for several days. The historic architectures exudes different varieties of charming from different viewpoint and time.

Panorama of Prague, view from Hanavsky Pavilon on the right, Letenské sady

From this place, the Vltava is great. Whether you look to the left or to the right, you see the very bridges. This is the view of the older part of Prague. Malá Sten and the Old Town. On the horizon, however, the Prague "skyscrapers" in Nusle can be seen.

St. Barbara's Church
A big beautiful cathedral both outside and inside. Very nice view of it and the surrounding buildings from the viewing platform across from the "ravine". Classic Gothic elements look very light. From the inside, this impression is still strengthened, because everything is flooded with light and rushes up.

Took a little searching to find this stairwell. I'd seen a lot of bright pictures of it, so it was surprising to see how dark and claustrophobic the area felt. There was a professional photographer aiming up to grab a picture as well but she was nice enough to let me sneak in a shot myself.

A gorgeous sight ~ but where exactly was it taken...?... Especially since this is a contest about the Czech Republic it would be always nice to really know the location :)

Hlavni Mesto Praha, The stairwell in the House of the Black Madonna in Celetná Street shows all charcteristics of cubism. The main shape in cubism is a cube and all other works of art are derived from this shape, as is seen here in the railings.

Thank you...! Great to have all information...! I know someone who is very fond of cubism so perhaps we can visit it together one day :)

Sedlec Ossuary
An amazing place worth visiting. It reminds us of what we really are after death. It's creepy, but human bones have turned into a work of art. It's worth a visit, with lot of human bones decorated into the church.

Cesky Krumlov
Tight, narrow streets lined with old-style buildings which house traditional shops and restaurants. Easily navigable once you've been round a couple of times. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area. Difficult to get lost as it's such a small area, so you'll more than likely find yourself in a place you recognise.

Lovers Bridge (Charles Bridge)
A beautiful view of all of the couples of placing padlocks on the bridge to announce their love. They cut them off every year and more tourists put them on each year. An absoloute must for anyone who is a fan of padlocks or bridges. For me as a fan of both padlocks and bridges this was one of the highlights of Prague.

Charles Bridge
We walked the bridge at night and again during the morning and experience a totally different feeling. In the morning the crowds were few and we could enjoy all of the mystic moments and history.

In this photo I show a detail of the upper part of the Prasna Brana Tower, taken from Via Celetna. I liked the view with this antique lamp right in front of the tower.
